Hope this New Year has treated you well so far..if not, it's okay to eat your feelings with
Moving on my loyal fluffsters, do you know what month it is? And NO, I'm not looking for " Every Skanky ass Bitch is at the Gym Month" as a response( and hint it's in the title). It's actually Cervical Cancer Month, and this is my official plea for you to go get your Fluffy Flower (code word for female parts below the waist area) checked out and take preventive measures against this deadly cancer. You might be asking why do I care and go on to shout "stay out of my flowery business!" ( I imagine you back talk to me often).
Truth is...I kind of sort of.... care about you and your health...and trust me this is not the way too lose weight (Yes, I thought about it....I told you my head rattles). In fact if not detected early, it can end your life....and no one wants to be buried in their fat body.(well only if it's your last F-U to the skinny bitches you've asked to be your pall-bearers)
I also have another motive to write about cervical cancer: someone I loved very dearly as a child passed away from Cervical and Ovarian Cancer (sometimes Angels have to suffer more) and only after 3 months of being diagnosed. Now here is the thing , when my aunt was diagnosed she was only in her 30's.....in other words I'm not that much younger than she was.
Had she had routine check ups (instead of cursing out the doctor's as the reason people where ill in the world), may be she could have been here today and watched her children grow up to have families of their own as well as continue to be the foundation her younger brothers (my dad is part of these brothers) and sister still need to this very day. I'm not saying she was selfish, truth is there was very little information out there on these types of cancers in the late 80's early 90's... that being said with the wealth of information out there right now...YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE not to get yourself checked out and take preventive measures (such as getting the HPV shot if you are under 26). There are even free clinics going on this month around the nation...take advantage of it.
Here are links to sites I think offer great information if you're interested:
The Voices of Two Mujeres
Center for Disease Control
National Cervical Cancer Coalition
Love to all...while
